Q: What is EJ's Wine Shop?
A: We're glad you asked! EJ's WIne Shop is a retail driven wine market and tasting lounge, located in a shared space with Wayfarer Coffee, committed to providing quality, handpicked wines to the Dubuque community for a fair price. We offer wine flights and wines by the glass to try new wines on site, and will offer light snacks to accompany our vino. EJ's will also feature local beers on draft and N/A drink options to enjoy.
Q: Do you offer private tastings?
A: Yes, we host in-person wine tastings. Please shoot us an email with general information (see below) and we will get back to you shortly with accommodation options.

Q: Can you ship or deliver alcohol?
A: SHIPPING: Unfortunately we are not legally able to ship wine.
DELIVERY: Have a big wine order for your home or an event? We will gladly deliver orders of a case or more in the Tri-State area for a small delivery fee. Please email us to inquire.
Q: Do you charge a fee if we buy a bottle to enjoy on site?
A: We are a retail driven shop, and are committed to offering quality hand picked wine at a very low mark up for our customers. That being said, we are very happy to open and serve a wine bottle and provide the glassware so that you can enjoy a bottle on site with friends. We will charge a $10 fee in addition to the bottle price for this bottle service.
When you go to a bar or restaurant, the price of a bottle of wine has overhead costs already built in. Our prices don't have those costs built in because we are a retail space and you're likely buying something to take off premise. If you're here to enjoy drinks in our space, we do need to recoup some of those overhead costs. Hence, the service fee. We hope you understand.
Q: Do You Serve Food?
A: We have a small selection of snacks, including regional cheese, meats, chocolates, nuts, and crackers. If you'd like to bring in more food, you're welcome to do so, but we ask that you refrain from bringing in chain restaurant food or outside cheese/crackers.
